HOUSE 157 RESTAURANT
COMMUNITY
We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community... Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own.

BIG YOU
LITTLE ME
SMALL TALK
At House 157, we’re more than just a restaurant - we’re driven by passion and a commitment to our community.
Our name symbolizes caring for our “home” and everyone in it, which is why we launched the ‘House157 Community Initiative’ to address key needs in our area.
April 7th, we proudly hosted a free mentoring event for young women aged 12-18, led by inspiring female leaders from our community. ‘Big you, LITTLE ME, Small Talk’ exemplifies our dedication to empowering our community with knowledge for a brighter future.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a LIFE by what we give.
-Winston Churchill
House 157 Restaurant & Ma Ellies Kitchen had the opportunity to volunteer and donate in the First Annual Holiday Drive and Soup Kitchen Event. We were able to donate food, monetary donations , as well as help to hand out socks, gloves, hats & more to the surrounding communities. Through this drive we were able to hopefully be a resource to families in need. As we launch into this new year we look forward to continuing our community action initiative and bridging the gap between communities
October Breast Cancer Awareness Month
During this month the organizations world wide organize awareness campaigns and initiatives to spread awareness about the disease, its risk factors, signs, symptoms, and screening methods. This year House 157 Restaurant wore pink and spread out information about the importance of conducting breast self-examinations, and seeking medical attention if they notice any unusual changes in their breast. The pink ribbon is the symbol that represents this global movement to raise awareness about breast cancer. It has become an international icon for breast cancer awareness, and it is used in various forms to show support for those who have breast cancer or have lost someone to the disease.
